Joann, I dislike when you deny me what I want. I found the perfect shade of light aqua tulle for my Jem skirt, but since it’s a gathered skirt I need 16 yards of it.
Go up to the counter to special order. ”Umm we can’t order that.” Couldn’t tell me for how long or if I’d be able to order it in the future. She says try buying it online.
Go online. Only 7 yards available. Fuck.

I knew when this photo was being taken that I wanted to make a comic book cover out of it. So here is the result. :D

Obviously, March 2013 is the date in which I made this, but why 27, you ask? Well firstly, I wanted a number in Steph’s run that didn’t exist. I figured if her book had continued then maybe this could be part of the next arc. Secondly, 27 is the day of the month I was born on. :)

You know, in the aftermath of Batman Inc #8, I find it somewhat appropriate that my next costume is a Robin.

Hey Robin cosplayers! I’m researching how best to make the R crest for my costume. I was thinking of cutting the shapes out in yellow and black and appliquéing them to the tunic. So how did you do yours? Even if you haven’t made a Robin costume, but you have an idea, how would you do it?

I have always kind of wanted to make a Magic Knight Rayearth costume. Fuu is my favorite. However, I like the more flowy, feminine kind of Grecian designs better.
You would make an adorable Hikaru, though! And again, we’d be size accurate! I would totally do it if I could cosplay with you.

Oh lordy, I’m away from the tumblr for a couple of days and the internet goes insane. Regarding the Tony Harris thing, I think most of it has already been said. I just want to say this to people like him:
Have you ever made a costume before? It isn’t easy, quick, or cheap. Just think for a second, if girls really wanted attention as badly as you think they do, don’t think there are other much easier means of finding it? Once again, I say that 90% of cosplay is the actual act of making the costume. If I’m going to invest a couple hundred dollars and about 30 hours of work into one costume, don’t you think I’m going to be a fan of the character?
Get over yourself.
