Oh hey, that moment when your school/Boston friends are reblogging your costuming friends! Gill, looking regal as always. And I think I’m actually standing just out of shot next to Kevin as Thor there…
The beast is done. Proper pictures tomorrow, but for now I’m spent. This hat had its successes and its failures. I managed to rig the LED circuit together after a tough time getting all the lights to work. Well, it turns out the fleece is too thick and you can’t even really see the lights anyway. ALL THAT WORK!!
Ah well. We live and learn. That was my first experience with LEDs ever, and I’m happy to be able to try new things.
As for the construction of the hat itself, I’m pretty pleased. I hope the client likes it.
I’m thinking about making a Spyro the Dragon hat for myself (minus the LEDs, of course.)
One of the half-assed test shots I took to see what last-minute tweaks I need to/can actually do before tomorrow (not enough to make me happy, but given my brain I will likely never be happy ಥ_ಥ). I would have done more/better shots, but it was around 81F/27C in my place then and ughhhhhh
